Now is the time to bring your expertise to Insight. We are not just a tech company; we are a people-first company. We believe that by unlocking the power of people and technology, we can accelerate transformation and achieve extraordinary results. As a Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator with deep expertise in cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, and intelligent edge, we guide organizations through complex digital decisions.

About the role:

The Senior Financial Analyst serves as a strategic FP&A partner to a dynamic business unit, providing financial reporting, forecasting, planning, and decision support to business leaders. This high-visibility role translates operational and financial data into actionable insights, supports both recurring and ad hoc analysis, and helps leadership navigate transformation, evolving reporting needs, and organizational change. The successful candidate combines strong analytical capability, business acumen, and executive-ready communication with the initiative to work through ambiguity and identify answers when established processes or data are incomplete.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own recurring financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for an assigned business unit, including revenue, expenses, and other key performance drivers.
  • Partner with business leaders and operational managers to gather inputs, challenge assumptions, explain financial results, and support informed decision-making.
  • Provide management reporting and financial analysis that improves visibility into business performance, with particular attention to services-based operations and evolving business models.
  • Prepare and maintain periodic forecasts and operating plans; identify trends, risks, opportunities, and material variances against plan.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from leadership by connecting data from multiple sources, framing the business question, and delivering clear, actionable findings.
  • Support transformation initiatives and changing reporting requirements by developing new analyses and adapting existing processes where established reporting does not fully meet business needs.
  • Coordinate with finance and business stakeholders across regions to support global reporting, forecasting, and consolidation of financial insights.
  • Analyze general ledger activity, expenses, and available operational data; work through data-quality or visibility limitations and help identify opportunities to improve reporting.
  • Communicate financial results and recommendations clearly to audiences at multiple organizational levels, including senior leaders.
  • Contribute to special projects and continuous-improvement efforts within the FP&A function.
What we’re looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • At least 4 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis, including hands-on responsibility for financial reporting and analysis.
  • At least 2 years of experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, or operating-plan development.
  • Demonstrated FP&A experience supporting business or operational leaders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to connect incomplete information, investigate unfamiliar questions, and develop sound conclusions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and credibly to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage recurring responsibilities and ad hoc requests while working across multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Comfort operating in a changing environment with ambiguity, evolving processes, and new reporting expectations.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and working proficiency with standard presentation and reporting tools.
