Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. is seeking a Senior Manager Accounting to manage end-to-end revenue recognition for complex arrangements and to oversee related policy governance, impairment analyses, and disclosures.

You will coordinate with operations, finance, IT, and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to evolving standards. The role requires a CPA or active license, 6+ years of accounting experience (Big 4 preferred), and strong communication

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 6+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably a mix of Big 4 public accounting and accounting in private industry.
• Experience in revenue accounting, including review of technical accounting for significant revenue contracts.
• Active CPA license (preferred).
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end revenue recognition for complex arrangements across multiple stakeholders.
• Design and refine processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in revenue recognition.
• Stay current with operations to identify new revenue transactions and advise on accounting treatment.
• Research, analyze and document significant technical accounting matters.
• Coordinate quarterly and annual financial statements, policies, pronouncements, and disclosures.
• Advise executives on technical accounting questions.
• Establish and revise accounting policies as needed.
• Evaluate new standards and implement adoption plans.
• Perform annual impairment analyses for goodwill and intangibles.
• Collaborate with external auditors on technical accounting matters.
• Support additional projects as needed.
• Provide exceptional experiences for guests, partners, and team members on-site.
