Job summary

Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (MSG Entertainment) seeks a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting to oversee end-to-end revenue recognition for complex contracts across the company.

You will review agreements, evaluate revenue recognition policies, and develop processes to ensure accurate disclosures, partnering with operations, finance, IT, and external auditors. CPA required and 8+ years of experience in public/private accounting; on-site in New York.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 8+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably a mix of Big 4 public accounting and accounting in private industry.
• Active CPA license.
• Experience in revenue accounting and review of technical accounting for significant revenue contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end revenue recognition process for complex revenue arrangements with cross-functional partners.
• Design and refine processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in revenue recognition.
• Stay informed on operations to identify/new revenue transactions and determine accounting treatment.
