Job summary

RingCentral in Belmont, CA is seeking a Senior Manager of Data Engineering to lead a team of data engineers and own the revenue data mart from design to delivery. You will mentor engineers, set technical direction, and partner with Finance, Revenue Ops, Analytics, and Product to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and scalability.

The role combines hands-on leadership with strategic roadmap work across Hadoop, Oracle, Snowflake, AWS and BI tools such as Tableau and Sigma, focusing on data governance,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data engineering experience, with leadership experience.
• Hands-on expertise with Hadoop ecosystem tools (Hive, Spark, HDFS), Oracle, Snowflake, AWS S3, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong background building data marts/warehouses supporting finance or revenue use cases.
• Deep understanding of ETL/ELT design, dimensional modeling, and orchestration tools (Airflow, Control-M).
• Experience with cloud data architecture and cost/performance optimization on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data engineers across experience levels.
• Own the technical strategy and roadmap for the revenue data mart.
• Architect and oversee data pipelines across Hadoop, Oracle, Snowflake, AWS S3, and PostgreSQL.
• Ensure reliable data integration with Marketo, Salesforce, Anaplan, NetSuite.
• Partner with BI teams to enable reporting via Tableau and Sigma.
• Drive data governance, security, and compliance standards.
