Charles Schwab seeks a Senior Manager for the Retail Web Technology Group in Austin to lead a multidisciplinary team, shaping the technology strategy, architecture, and delivery for customer-facing platforms. You will partner across product, security, and risk to ensure scalable, secure, and high-impact solutions that drive business value.

• 10+ years of software engineering experience delivering complex technology solutions, platforms, or initiatives.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience with building high-performing teams.
• Strong leadership across platform engineering, cloud architecture, DevOps, production operations, and integration.
• Strategic thinking, problem solving, and decision making for ambiguous tech initiatives from concept to production readiness.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management translating tech tradeoffs into business value.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary retail organization including engineers, architects, and PMs.
• Build team capabilities, hiring strategies, and succession plans for Schwab's retail tech roadmap.
• Own the roadmap for production-biased initiatives including architecture, milestones, readiness, security, and graduation criteria.
• Partner with product, architecture, security, cloud, legal, and business stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable incubation work.
• Create a disciplined operating model for intake, prioritization, delivery transparency, and adoption planning.
• Serve as a hands-on technical leader to deliver high-quality solutions meeting business objectives in a dynamic environment.
• Collaborate with partner organizations to define transfer plans, including platform handoffs and support models for long-term ownership.
• Track retail initiatives against roadmaps with clear production and transfer criteria.
