AISIN World Corp. of America is evaluating a Manager – Resin & Indirect Materials to oversee NA purchasing strategy for resin raw materials and indirect chemical commodities, including greases, felts, solder paste, and related materials.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to optimize supply, cost, and risk management across multiple plants. The role requires extensive experience in resin/chemical commodity management within automotive manufacturing, strong supplier

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in purchasing or commodity management within manufacturing.
• Experience with resin, polymers, chemicals, lubricants or related materials used in manufacturing.
• Automotive manufacturing experience with understanding of processes, materials, quality, and cost drivers.

Responsabilités

• Lead North America purchasing strategy and commercial management for resin raw materials and indirect chemical commodities.
• Serve as commodity leader for resin and assigned chemical commodities with understanding of properties, suppliers, feedstocks, and market drivers.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term commodity strategies covering sourcing, localization, cost reduction, supply continuity, capacity, and supplier development.
• Lead RFQ, sourcing, quotation analysis, negotiations, commercial terms, and supplier selection for assigned commodities.
• Lead annual cost-reduction activities through competitive sourcing, localization, specification review, VA/VE, and supply-chain optimization.
• Manage supply-chain risks including capacity constraints, allocation, supplier risk, logistics, tariffs, and disruptions.
• Lead material changes, production change requests, engineering changes, last-time buys, and supplier transitions.
