Job summary

Revolution Medicines in Redwood City, CA seeks a Senior Manager, Research Informatics to lead strategy, development, and governance of research informatics capabilities for Discovery Research.

You will partner with scientists, computational teams, and IT to standardize workflows, implement enterprise platforms like Genedata Screener and Benchling, and enable scalable data management and AI-enabled discovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, computational, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7–9 years leading research informatics or lab data initiatives in biotech/pharma settings.
• Experience with assay management platforms (Genedata Screener, IDBS ActivityBase, Revvity Signals).
• Strong understanding of discovery workflows, data lifecycle management, and enterprise informatics ecosystems.
• Ability to translate scientific and business needs into scalable technology roadmaps.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs with scientists, software engineers, and vendors.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Python, data standards, and modern integration approaches.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the research informatics strategy to support scalable workflows across Discovery Research.
• Partner with scientific, computational, and technology teams to align priorities with informatics capabilities.
• Lead design, governance, and lifecycle management of data models, templates, workflows, and platforms (Genedata Screener, Benchling).
• Automate data capture, assay analysis, reporting, and integrations to improve efficiency and data integrity.
• Establish standards for data management, metadata, workflow design, and application lifecycle management.
• Build partnerships with scientists, IT, vendors, and collaborators to deliver informatics solutions.
• Drive user adoption through training, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Assess emerging technologies and define strategies for AI-enabled discovery.
