Job summary

Revolution Medicines, a Redwood City-based oncology company, seeks a Senior Clinical Data Manager to lead data management activities across trials. You will develop docs, set up systems, conduct UAT, and manage data timelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure inspection-ready records and timely database locks.

The role requires a strong foundation in data management principles, regulatory knowledge (ICH/FDA/GCP), and hands-on experience with eDC systems, and CDISC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematics, Computer Sciences, or health-related field.
• At least three years for CDM and five years for Sr. CDM of Data Management experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Solid knowledge of clinical data management principles and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with ICH, FDA, and GCP regulations and guidelines.
• Experience with EDC systems and industry standards (CDISC, SDTM, CDASH).
• Strong verbal/written and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with good organization and attention to detail.
• Experience working independently and in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Represents data management in study team meetings and provides updates as needed.
• Manages data management timelines to align with study timelines.
• Generates or reviews study documents (DMPs, CRFs, DB build specs).
• Reviews protocols for appropriate data capture and eCRF design.
• Oversees database setup/migrations/updates and coordinates UAT.
• Leads development of internal Data Review Plan and cross-functional data listing reviews.
• Coordinates internal medical coding review and data reconciliation.
• Performs data listings reviews and resolves queries in EDC and external data reconciliation.
• Performs Serious AE reconciliation per SOPs and guidelines.
• Dispatches data management metrics, listings, and reports.
• Oversees DM CRO/service providers and maintains vendor relationships.
• Provides feedback on study documents and training on EDC/CRF completion.
• Identifies study risks and implements mitigation strategies.
• Maintains DM documents for inspection readiness.
• Supports statisticians and programmers in trial reporting.
• Assists with training of new employees/contractors.
• Participates in CRO/vendor selection and departmental SOP development.
• Contributes to cross-functional initiatives and RevMed core values.
