Job summary

VOYA Investment Management invites applications for a Manager Research Analyst to join the Manager Research and Selection Team (MR&S) within MASS. You will lead original research on public market managers, form independent investment views, and clearly communicate recommendations to a senior team.

Expect to contribute to research infrastructure and participate in board-related reporting. The MASS team oversees a broad suite of solutions, with exposure to mutual funds, ETFs and multi-manager

Qualifications

• Independent qualitative and quantitative due diligence capable of actionable recommendations.
• Experience evaluating performance, style, factor, attribution, and risk.
• Familiarity with public markets investment vehicles including mutual funds and ETFs.
• Strong presentation and communication skills for senior stakeholders.
• Basic programming skills in VBA, R, Python are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct original research on public markets investment managers across asset classes.
• Form well-supported investment views and clearly communicate recommendations.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and defend investment proposals.
• Support development of research infrastructure and monitoring processes.
• Participate in board meetings and prepare material for board initiatives.
