Job summary

Kassen Recruitment is seeking a Senior Manager, Regulatory Finance for a leadership role in a major infrastructure organization. The role focuses on the financial and accounting side of regulatory activities, supporting the preparation, analysis, and defence of financial information for regulatory filings.

The ideal candidate will hold a CPA or equivalent, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, and substantial experience in regulatory finance and financial reporting, preferably in utilities.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting credential.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline.
• Significant progressive experience in finance, accounting, or regulatory reporting.
• Experience in the utility sector is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of regulatory reporting and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and analysis of financial information for regulatory filings.
• Provide accounting expertise throughout the regulatory reporting process.
• Review data and schedules for accuracy and completeness.
• Develop analyses to support regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet filing requirements.
• Identify discrepancies and propose solutions.
• Support regulatory reviews, hearings, and audits.
• Present financial information to senior leadership.
