Job summary

Hyundai in Jersey City is seeking a Senior Manager, Regional Market Representation (Eastern) to lead market representation activities across the region. You will supervise staff, develop plans with the National Office, and ensure dealer compliance with Hyundai guidelines.

The role requires strong analytical and organizational skills, 8 years wholesale automotive experience, and 2–3 years of supervisory experience; SAP, ICON and MicroStrategy proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Eight years wholesale automotive experience preferred with dealer contacts.
• Two to three years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated abilities in SAP, ICON, MicroStrategy and database management.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for open point candidates and identify the strongest for open points.
• Prepare all documentation for Sales & Service Agreements promptly.
• Draft new Sales and Service Agreements and renewals.
• Manage amendments, buy/sell, terminations, and dealer terminations.
• Ensure dealership compliance with Hyundai guidelines and requirements.
• Develop reports and analyze Market Rep activity data for management.
• Schedule, conduct and summarize dealer applicant interviews regionally.
• Supervise and direct activities of the administrative assistant.
• Develop Market Rep plans and strategies and identify regional gaps.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Responsible for all Market Representation activities that are dictated by Sr. Group Manager, Regional Market Representation.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Prospect for open point candidates. Identify and recommend strongest candidate for open points.
• Prepare all documentation involving Sales & Service Agreements in a timely fashion.
• New Sales and Service Agreements.
• Renewals
• Amendments
• Buy/Sells
• Terminations
• Ensure dealership compliance with HMA dealership guidelines and requirements.
• Develop reports and analyze data regarding Market Rep activities, provide information to management and DSMs for use in the Region.
• Schedule, conduct and summarize application data and interviews for dealer applicants in the Region.
• Supervise and direct activities of administrative assistant.
• Develop and recommend Market Rep plans and strategies.
• Identify markets within region that need additional Hyundai dealer representation.
• Monitor the timely shutdown of dealers that terminate.
• Work closely with National Office to achieve Market Representation goals.
• Perform all other assigned duties (duties that are ancillary to this position and/or complement the essential duties) as required.
• Shared responsibility for approving Time Off Requests for regional Market Representation section.
• Shared responsibility for approving Equipment/Software requests for regional Market Representation section.
• Shared responsibility for completing the Performance Goals/Evaluations for regional Market Representation section.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

• Must be a high school graduate
• Eight years wholesale related automotive experienced desired with demonstrated abilities in direct dealer contacts.
• Two to three years of supervisory experience desired.
• Demonstrated abilities in SAP, ICON, MicroStrategy and database management.
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• MicroStrategy query ability
• Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Compensation Range: $114,800.00 - $164,000.00 annual base salary
