Job summary

Hyundai is seeking an Associate, Regional Vehicle Distribution to join our logistics team in Plano, TX. You will support the Senior Manager by handling analytics and administrative tasks related to regional vehicle distribution, ensuring accurate data and timely reporting.

The role emphasizes coordinating vehicle pooling, invoicing, titles, registrations, and the distribution of demo and lease vehicles. You will work with SAP and CARS for Windows to produce regional reports and track disposition

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of work experience preferred, especially in sales or logistics.
• Strong analytical skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Windows-based software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
• Basic understanding of SQL for CARS queries and database operations.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Senior Manager, Regional Vehicle Distribution; perform analytics and administrative tasks for regional vehicle distribution.
• Manage regional vehicle pool: allocate, group, and dispose of vehicles; ensure maintenance and mile cap compliance.
• Process all invoices, COOs, purchase agreements, lease paperwork, and registrations for company leases; allocate and distribute requests.
• Operate within SAP to distribute demo and lease returns; coordinate dispositions for dealer or individual purchases; arrange vehicles for events.
• Maintain records of vehicles used regionally; generate regional reports using CARS for Windows and SAP as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Reporting to the Senior Manager, Regional Vehicle Distribution, this position is responsible for all analytical and administrative tasks related to the distribution of vehicles in the region.

WHAT YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Order, Allocate, Group, and Manage the regional pool car fleet to ensure correct number of vehicles are always in the pool. Have required Hyundai maintenance completed on pool car vehicles, and correctly dispose of units when they reach the mile cap.
• Administer all vehicle invoices, certificate of origins, and purchase agreements when necessary. Process all lease paperwork and registration/title paperwork for company leases. Allocate, group, and distribute company car requests. Approve and process all regional vehicle requests in a timely manner. Work within SAP to distribute demo and lease returns to be purchased by dealer or individual. Distribute special unit vehicles for HMA associated events.
• Manage all vehicles used for company purposes including regional demos, pool cars, marketing vehicles, and company lease vehicles for all affiliate companies within the region.
• Process and track bills and invoices that are related to company car operations.
• Responsible for the formation of all regional reports utilizing CARS for Windows, SAP, etc., as needed and requested by management.
• Accurately track the disposition of all company cars including those sold at auction.
• Assist the Regional Distribution Senior Manager with any allocation or logistical activities necessary for the efficient operation of the department.
• Monitor and analyze each district sales manager’s wholesale and allocation performance
• Fulfill process and track all dealer services loaner transactions. ~ Perform all other tasks as required including: training assistance and back-up support to associate analyst charged with Autoshow vehicles, wholesale returns, transportation damage issues, fleet orders, vehicle assignments, and maintenance of files.
• This position has some authority to allocate vehicles, bill and collect payments for company cars, assign pool cars to authorized users, de-commit cars, ship or stop shipment for various business reasons.
• This is a support position, focused on delivering day to day tasks and analyses with a degree of autonomy while receiving general instructions and supervision.
• Exercise of discretion and independent judgment directly related to significant management and/or general business operations is not required.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

• Must be a high school graduate.
• Two or more years of work experience is preferred.
• Prefer at least one year directly related in sales or logistics.
• Good analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Windows-based software programs – Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
• Basic understanding of SQL as it related to the formation of CARS queries and database operations.

WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU

• Compensation Range: $56,550 - $78,000
• Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
