Qualifications

• Advanced degree in health economics or a related discipline (e.g., mathematics, statistics, economics, epidemiology).
• Typically requires 6 years of relevant experience in health economics and outcomes research, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Leverage Vertex’s in-licensed RWE data assets to conduct queries and analyses supporting the product portfolio.
• Conduct feasibility assessments to inform design and execution of research projects.
• Perform health economic and outcomes research to characterize disease burden and healthcare resource utilization.
• Generate actionable insights to address key business questions from internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead development of study protocols, statistical analysis plans, and table shells.
• Support statistical programmers through data queries and analyses.
• Generate analytic reports, tables, and visualizations for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency of analytics operating model.
• Contribute to development and maintenance of internal analytic tools (libraries, macros, templates).
• Support HEOR disease/asset leads in identifying research gaps and objectives.
