Job summary

Edison Smart® is seeking a Senior Quality/Process Manager to lead quality operations across an InP wafer fabrication facility, drive yield improvements, and strengthen quality systems for advanced photonic devices. You will collaborate with process engineers and production teams to deliver robust manufacturing capabilities for AI infrastructure and datacenter interconnects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Quality/Process/Product Engineering within III-V semiconductor or photonics manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of InP-based photonic devices and wafer fabrication.
• Experience with InP epitaxial growth (MOCVD/MBE), defect management, and material quality assessment.
• Experience implementing ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Knowledge of high-speed optical transceivers or datacenter optics is a plus.

Senior Quality/Process Manager - Photonics

Edison Smart are working with a semiconductor company developing InP-based lasers and optical components for AI infrastructure, datacenter interconnects, and next-generation optical communication systems.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality/Process Manager to lead quality operations across an InP wafer fabrication facility, drive yield improvement initiatives, and oversee quality systems supporting advanced photonic device manufacturing.

• 7+ years in Quality Engineering, Process Engineering, or Product Engineering within III-V semiconductor or photonics manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of InP-based photonic devices, III-V semiconductor physics, and wafer fabrication processes
• Experience with InP epitaxial growth (MOCVD/MBE), defect management, and material quality assessment
• Proven experience implementing and maintaining ISO9001 and ISO14001 management systems
• Knowledge of high-speed optical transceivers, datacenter optics, or coherent optical communications preferred
