Job description

GFT is seeking a Senior Manager - Project Coordination to join our Project Financial Controls Team! This role follows a REMOTE work model.

What you'll be challenged to do:

As a Senior Manager, Project Coordination you will oversee the daily operations of the Project Coordination department, ensuring project managers have the tools and processes needed to deliver successful outcomes for our clients. This role leads efforts to design and implement business processes, collaborates with key stakeholders to align strategies with organizational goals, and drives continuous improvement through quality initiatives. As a subject matter expert and people leader, this individual also manages workforce planning, performance evaluations, employee development, and training programs to support a high-performing team.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operational activities for the Project Coordination department.
  • Identify business processes and required support, implement new processes and procedures to support the project managers to develop, monitor and deliver projects for our clients.
  • Responsible for consultation with customers, peers and core business partners to develop business cases, process programs and key strategies to identify, quantify and deliver process design efforts in support of business visions, objectives and strategies.
  • Facilitate Quality Improvement and Staff Meetings to improve processes
  • Serves as a subject matter expert and problem solver.
  • Performs all necessary human resources function to allow the department to function and aligns with internal processes included but not limited to; workforce planning, evaluates employee's performance and capacity of the team, annual compensation processes and recognition, and employee development.
  • Assist in development and implementation of training programs


What you will bring to our firm:

  • Fourteen (14) years of relevant experience in project accounting, controls and contracts
  • Ability to lead and build effective teams, mentor and develop staff
  • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage at different levels in the organization effectively and with diplomacy
  • Possess time-management skills and collaborative approach with the ability to work under pressure


Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $120,000-$170,000 USD. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
