Job summary

RTX, a leader in aerospace and defense, seeks a Senior Manager to develop and execute the ECU affordability strategy and lead integration with Base Program and ECU CIPTs to improve cost performance. You will drive cost reduction opportunities, maturation of cost control, and governance routines, shaping affordability across the ECU organization and preparing for post RRDR initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in program management, engineering, operations, or cost management.
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated change leadership ability.
• U.S. citizenship required due to program/contract access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to ECU affordability strategy and drive cost and process excellence initiatives.
• Lead day to day execution of the ECU affordability PCMT, with cross-functional teams.
• Partner with CIPTs to ensure early assessment of cost, schedule, and technical impacts.
• Support maturation of the Engineering Change Cost Control function and manage ECs.
• Strengthen EC process rigor and improve awareness of cost impacts.
• Assist in developing cost control strategies aligned with RRDR initiatives.
• Represent program cost considerations in governance forums to reinforce accountability.
• Identify gaps and drive corrective actions to reduce cost escapes.
• Develop and maintain metrics, dashboards, and governance routines.
