Job summary

BusPatrol is hiring a senior product marketing leader in Austin to own the product marketing strategy across the portfolio. You will shape positioning, messaging, and value propositions, partner with Product Leadership to influence roadmaps, and lead go-to-market for launches and expansions.

You will build enablement programs, work with Sales and Revenue Ops, and translate complex technology into customer-focused messaging.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 8+ years in Product Marketing, Product Management, Go-to-Market Strategy, or related leadership.
  • Experience leading enterprise product launches and commercialization initiatives.
  • Experience owning product positioning, messaging, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement strategy.
  • Strong understanding of B2B technology buying cycles and enterprise sales motions.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to influence strategic decisions.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling customer messaging.
  • Strong analytical skills using customer, market, and performance data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own BusPatrol's product marketing strategy across the product portfolio.
  • Develop differentiated positioning, messaging, and value propositions communicating customer value and differentiation.
  • Partner with Product Leadership to influence roadmaps with customer, market, and competitive insights.
  • Develop messaging frameworks supporting customer acquisition, expansion, retention, and new market entry.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all customer-facing channels and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional go-to-market for launches, feature releases, market expansions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Build commercialization plans aligning Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Revenue Ops, and Exec Leadership.
  • Define launch success metrics and monitor adoption, market penetration, and business performance.
  • Continuously optimize launch strategies based on feedback, market response, and outcomes.
  • Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and strategies to accelerate growth.
  • Own the strategy and development of sales enablement programs: product presentations, messaging frameworks, battlecards, competitive guides, customer case studies, product one-pagers, ROI calculators, value-based selling tools, industry messaging.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership and Revenue Operations to improve seller readiness and shorten cycles.
  • Develop and deliver enablement training for customer-facing teams.
  • Build and maintain BusPatrol's competitive intelligence program.
  • Monitor competitors, industry trends, legislative developments, and public-sector tech.
  • Conduct customer interviews, market research, and win/loss analyses to inform strategy.
  • Deliver insights and market recommendations to Product and Exec Leadership.
  • Serve as the organization's market dynamics SME and voice of the customer in planning.
  • Gather feedback to influence product roadmap priorities.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to develop customer success stories and references.
  • Represent BusPatrol at conferences, events, webinars, and industry forums.
  • Coordinate with Government Relations to align messaging with policy priorities.
  • Act as central product marketing partner across PM, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Revenue Ops, and Exec Leadership.
  • Lead cross-functional commercialization planning and align multiple business functions.
  • Influence pricing, packaging, positioning, segmentation, and market expansion decisions.
  • Help establish scalable product marketing processes, templates, and best practices as BusPatrol grows.
  • Mentor junior marketing team members and contribute to org development.

  • Conduct customer interviews, market research, and win/loss analyses to identify opportunities and inform business strategy.
  • Deliver actionable competitive insights and market recommendations to Product Leadership and Executive Leadership.
  • Serve as the organization's subject matter expert on market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer throughout product planning and commercialization efforts.
  • Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to influence product roadmap priorities.
  • Partner with Customer Success to develop customer success stories and reference programs.
  • Represent BusPatrol at conferences, customer events, webinars, and industry forums.
  • Collaborate with Government Relations and Public Affairs to ensure messaging aligns with evolving legislation, policy initiatives, and public‑sector priorities.
  • Act as the central product marketing partner across Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, Government Relations, Finance, and Executive Leadership.
  • Lead cross‑functional commercialization planning and drive alignment across multiple business functions.
  • Influence strategic decisions regarding pricing, packaging, positioning, customer segmentation, and market expansion.
  • Help establish scalable product marketing processes, templates, and best practices as BusPatrol continues to grow.

Requirements
