Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Manager of Product Analytics in San Bruno, CA. You will lead a team delivering analytics across the product lifecycle, partner with Product, Engineering, and Business, and shape strategy with data-driven insights and experimentation.

You will guide measurement frameworks, instrument events, and define KPIs to drive decisions, with a focus on improving customer and business outcomes. Ideal candidates have extensive leadership in analytics and retail tech experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Product Analytics, Data Science, or Business Analytics.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience in digital advertising, retail media, e-commerce, marketplace, or consumer technology.
• Strong SQL and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Product Analysts supporting Data Ventures & Advertising.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to Product, Engineering, and Business driving data-informed product strategy and decision-making.
• Proactively identify product opportunities through customer insights, hypothesis-driven analysis, and product performance deep dives.
• Define product KPIs, measurement strategies, and event instrumentation requirements to ensure data.
• Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and apply statistical methods to measure product impact.
• Build scalable dashboards, reporting, and self-service analytics solutions.
• Leverage clickstream and behavioral data to improve customer experience and influence product roadmaps.
• Deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations that drive product innovation, business outcomes, and success.
