Job summary

Assurant seeks a Manager, Process Assurance to lead a 6-10 person team driving risk, control and compliance across Connected Living. You will design scalable controls, coach leaders, and partner with business, IT, and audit teams to oversee operational and financial controls and testing.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in risk/process controls with leadership experience, and familiarity with SSAE18/SOC/SOX frameworks. This is a hybrid role with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• BA in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or Compliance, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years cross-functional experience in risk management, process management, or internal controls, including 2 years leading a team.
• Experience leading through ambiguity and change; strong collaboration with IT, audit, and compliance partners.
• Knowledge of SOC1, SOC2, SSAE 18, and SOX frameworks is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 6-10 Process Assurance Analysts, Senior Analysts, and Supervisors.
• Coordinate development, documentation, and implementation of business control activities.
• Analyze key processes and recommend improvements; monitor risk mitigation actions.
• Facilitate internal, external, and regulatory audits (SSAE 18, SOC1, SOC2, SOX).
• Build relationships with business leaders and cross-functional partners; manage change.
• Identify automation/AI opportunities to enhance audit coordination and reporting.
