The State of Minnesota seeks a Senior Manager of Policy and Regulation to lead the Board of Cosmetology’s policy development, legislative affairs, and regulatory planning. You will coordinate agency communications and stakeholder outreach, serving as a principal liaison with the legislature and other government entities on behalf of the Executive Director.

Qualificações

• Three years of professional experience in policy development, regulatory affairs, legislative analysis, or administration of a government or similar regulatory program.
• Experience leading projects or implementing policy changes.
• Experience assessing operational needs and implementing changes to increase efficiencies.
• Supervisory experience directing work, coaching employees, evaluating performance.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with prioritization, analysis, and complex issue resolution.
• Interpersonal skills to work with diverse backgrounds and teams.
• Communication skills to mobilize action, coach staff, and deliver presentations.
• Ability to analyze, interpret and communicate complex rules and regulations to varied audiences.
