Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls to lead cost engineering, risk analysis, and governance for pharmaceutical capital projects including facility construction, process equipment, and technology transfer. You will ensure budget integrity and forecast accuracy, provide risk visibility, maintain cGMP compliance, and support enterprise reporting within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

8–12+ years in project controls within pharma/biotech or regulated manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of cGMP, capital governance frameworks (stage-gate, CAR/AFE).
Proficiency in SAP, Power BI, Primavera P6, or MS Project.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Construction Management, or related field.
PMP or similar certifications preferred.
Experience with risk frameworks like Monte Carlo simulations advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead project controls teams (cost engineers, risk analysts); manage cost baselines, forecasts, earned value management, and risk processes.
Oversee project schedule alignment, governance, change control, and contingency management.
Support enterprise reporting and financial consolidation.
Escalate project risks related to equipment lead times, regulatory timelines, and supply chain constraints.
Ensure adherence to cGMP standards and internal policies.
