Job summary

Highwire seeks an experienced Senior Manager, People Operations to lead payroll, benefits and people analytics for a multistate workforce in the United States. You will own Rippling configurations, tax administration and data integrity while partnering with Finance and leadership.

You will design compelling benefits programs, drive communication strategies, and oversee 401(k) governance and compliance, including annual audits and Form 5500 support.

Qualifications

• At least seven years of progressive experience across multistate payroll, benefits and related operations.
• Direct hands-on experience processing multistate payroll via Rippling with complex issue resolution.
• Experience managing payroll-provider relationships and vendor performance.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax requirements and annual compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll administration for multistate workforce, including off-cycle payrolls.
• Lead benefits strategy, plan design, renewal modeling, and employee communications.
• Administer 401(k) plan, audits, and Form 5500 support.
• Own leave-of-absence processes and related payroll and benefits deductions.
• Build and advance people analytics dashboards and executive-ready insights.
• Maintain data governance and ensure accuracy across payroll, benefits and HR systems.
• Collaborate with Finance on reconciliations, forecasting and audits.
