Job summary

Highwire is seeking a Senior Manager, People Operations to lead payroll, benefits, and people analytics for a multistate workforce. The role partners with Finance, People leadership, and vendors to ensure accurate payroll, compliant tax filings, and compelling benefits programs.

The ideal candidate combines deep payroll and benefits expertise with strong analytics, business judgment, and the ability to drive strategy and execution across a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Progressive payroll, benefits, leave administration and HR systems experience across multistate environments.
• Experience processing multistate payroll and payroll tax with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Ability to translate workforce data into executive-ready insights and actions.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll administration for multistate workforce, including taxes and changes.
• Design and administer Health, Welfare and 401(k) programs with cost balance and employee value.
• Lead Leave-of-Absence administration and compliance across states.
