Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Senior Manager, Operations Support to drive operational excellence across field operations. You will lead planning, coordination, and execution of initiatives that improve performance and digital transformation.

You will partner with site leadership, manage core and extended project teams, and ensure delivery of measurable results while adapting to changing priorities. This role requires travel up to 50% and a strong leadership presence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Project Management, or related field(s).
• Proven success in large-scale process improvement and technology implementation initiatives.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to engage and influence all levels of management.
• Led large, geographically dispersed teams and complex projects with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of operations support initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
• Drive timelines, deliverables, and coordination across teams for workshops and milestones.
• Oversee requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and adoption for operational improvements.
• Support communication strategies to ensure clarity across Areas and sites.
• Manage core and extended project teams, including resource allocation and performance tracking.
• Monitor progress against milestones and adjust plans to meet objectives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify challenges and implement corrective actions.
• Drive skill development for field operations employees.
• Lead initiatives that respond to evolving business priorities.
