Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Hauling Operations to oversee collections activities across multiple lines of business within a geographically dispersed area. You will supervise drivers and helpers, collaborating with the Operations Manager to drive safety, customer experience, and efficiency while supporting a culture of employee engagement.

The role requires directing large teams, championing safety, and continuously optimizing routes and service delivery.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safety: provide leadership to achieve safety goals, remove unsafe conditions, and maintain safety programs.
• Customer Experience: deliver service that meets or exceeds customer expectations and resolve issues.
• Efficiency: lead routes, optimize density, reduce route hours, and manage labor and disposal costs.
• Employee Engagement: foster a collaborative team environment, develop talent, and coach for advancement.
• General: execute operational plans to meet division budget and support fleet maintenance and reliability.
