We are looking for an experienced Senior Operations Manager, based in Palmetto, to plan, direct, and coordinate the operations at the facility. You will be responsible for improving performance, productivity, and efficiency through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. It's an exciting time to join the syncreon team!

How you will contribute

• Manage the daily activities of a logistics operation to maximize scheduling and delivery of commodities to the customer.
• Interface with customer to ensure smooth coordination of scheduling and maximization of schedule adherence; provide input on local conditions, identify needs, and receive direction on real-time staffing adjustments.
• Enact contingency plans as needed; escalate and direct activities during system problems, disasters, etc.; identify potential problems, troubleshoot, escalate issues to local and senior management, and participate in post-mortem analysis to provide input for future process improvements.
• Review ongoing performance results against targets. Take corrective measures with authorization, escalate as needed.
• Provide effective leadership to Warehouse Managers and/or teams, enforce company standards, and act as a role model.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Progressive experience in professional-level operational and plant management duties; preferably in the automotive or logistics industry.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents; respond effectively to inquiries or complaints; write documents using original or innovative techniques; and make persuasive presentations on complex topics to top management and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form; handle multiple variables.
• Proficient in personal computer skills including email, record keeping, database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics.
