Position Description

As the Senior Manager of Operations, your role will be to manage operations for assigned location(s). You will provide leadership in safety, quality, production, financial controls, plant security, OSHA compliance, facilities, and manufacturing. You will also work cross-functionally to ensure consistency in operations and strategies. You will ensure large-scale projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards, production requirements, and goals.

You will do this by:

• Overseeing multiple departments and support areas within the plant.
• Managing the effective use of production hours, skills, equipment, and facilities, and being accountable for safety, production delivery, and costs.
• Participating in planning production schedules, requirements, and manufacturing controls related to operations.
• Developing and implementing strategies for operational improvement, ensuring efficiency standards are met.
• Developing capital and annual budgets, maintaining them throughout the fiscal year to meet financial goals.
• Evaluating new technologies and recommending strategies for acquisition and implementation.
• Driving cost reduction and continuous improvement projects, monitoring employee productivity, and fostering employee involvement.
• Performing managerial responsibilities such as hiring, coaching, performance management, and budget management.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent education and experience.

• Three years of experience managing people is preferred.
