Job Description: Senior Manager of Operations

As the Senior Manager of Operations, your role will be to manage operations for assigned location(s). You will provide leadership in safety, quality, production, financial controls, plant security, OSHA compliance, facilities, and manufacturing. You will work cross-functionally to ensure consistency in operations and related strategies, ensuring large-scale projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards, production requirements, and goals.

Responsibilities include:

1. Overseeing multiple departments and support areas within the assigned plant.
2. Managing the effective use of production hours, skills, equipment, and facilities, and being accountable for safety, production delivery, and manufacturing costs.
3. Participating in planning production schedules, requirements, and manufacturing controls related to operations.
4. Developing and implementing strategies for operational improvement and ensuring efficiency standards are met.
5. Developing and managing budgets to achieve financial goals.
6. Evaluating new technologies and recommending strategies for acquisition and implementation.
7. Driving cost reduction and continuous improvement projects, and monitoring employee productivity.
8. Performing managerial responsibilities such as hiring, coaching, performance management, and department budgeting.
9. Performing other duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile:

• Knowledge of production practices, processes, and support activities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Success in implementing large-scale improvements.
• Proficiency with computer applications and SAP.
• Familiarity with purchasing, industrial engineering, and plant layout.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of seven years in a technical service or related field.
• Three years of management experience preferred.
