Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a senior finance professional to oversee financial support for project teams and to assist the month-end close, focusing on revenue recognition, forecasting, and EVA analysis. The role includes mentoring analysts, developing efficient financial processes, and presenting metrics to the CFO and Executive Director of Operational Finance.

Travel to sponsor locations and Precisions Office for meetings should be anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related business field.
• A minimum of eight years’ experience in project finance including budgets, EVA analysis, and financial contract review.
• Direct experience in working with sponsors.
• CRO industry experience; occasional travel to sponsor locations and local travel to Precisions Office anticipated.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and train financial analysts in finance project support.
• Design, develop, and implement project financial processes to increase operational efficiencies and timely reporting.
• Produce monthly financial metrics for CFO and Executive Director of Operational Finance (revenue recognition, forecasting, EVA, variance analysis).
• Collaborate with intercompany Finance Teams on budgets, revenue, backlog, and intercompany agreements.
• Support project teams in financial aspects of running clinical trials.
• Assist in monthly invoicing worksheet preparation for client invoicing and revenue recognition.
• Perform variance analysis comparing forecasted vs actual revenue to identify gaps.
