The Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers (League) was founded in 1972 as one of the country's first state Primary Care Associations (PCAs). Established under the same federal legislation as the health center program (Section 330 of the Public Health Service Act), PCAs support health centers and their communities through core functions and competencies. The League is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization registered as a public charity with the Commonwealth's Secretary of State, with a professional staff based in Boston and Worcester.
The League has affiliated organizations, including The Institute for Health Equity Research, Evaluation and Policy (IHE). IHE focuses on community engagement and supports infrastructure, implementation, evaluation, and training to identify and sustain effective strategies for health equity, emphasizing community-led science to benefit those most affected by health inequities.
Position Summary:
IHE seeks an operationally skilled, detail-oriented, and mission-driven professional to manage business operations and program activities. The successful candidate will establish and maintain systems supporting research, evaluation, and policy work, evaluate the impact of IHE activities, and engage communities to disseminate IHE work broadly.
