Creative Financial Staffing is assisting a Loop-based professional services client in Chicago with a Senior Manager of FP&A role. The position reports to the Director of Finance and partners with the CFO’s team to drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial planning activities: budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting.
• Drive the FP&A process for monthly forecast, annual budget, and 5-year plan.
• Collaborate with business units and cross-functional teams (exec, regional, sales, supply chain).
• Lead standardization and process improvement across operating units.

Creative Financial Staffing is working with a well-established professional services company in the Loop to fill a Senior Manager of FP&A position, which is a key role for their finance department. This position is open due to internal promotion.

Responsibilities Of The Senior Manager Of FP&A

• Manage financial planning activities, including management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, kpi reporting, etc for one of their fasting growing segments
• Responsible for driving and monitoring financial performance, analyzing and interpreting operating results, investigating variances and unusual items; and evaluating their effect on operations
• Drive the financial planning process for monthly forecast, annual budgeting, and five-year strategic plan
• Work closely with the various business units
• Cross functional contribution assisting executive, regional, sales and supply chain teams;
• Driving standardization & process improvement across operating businesses in all aspects of planning and reporting, including best practice sharing
• Provide coaching & development to multiple direct reports
• Assist with M&A due diligence and scenario modeling.

Experience Preferred For The Senior Manager Of FP&A
