Overview and Responsibilities:

CBS Media Ventures is seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Communications to join our team working on day-to-day publicity for multiple syndicated shows.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in television publicity and exceptional talent relations skills. Previous experience working in syndication, news, or the station community is a plus. A team-oriented mentality is essential.

This is a full-time position based in New York, eligible for production benefits.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Devise and implement strategic consumer and trade publicity campaigns for multiple shows, maintaining momentum throughout the season.
• Pitch all consumer-facing media, including traditional print, broadcast, and online outlets. Select compelling video clips, photos, and assets to promote the shows effectively.
• Write press releases, talking points, bios, and collateral publicity materials. Coordinate press interviews, talk show appearances, photo shoots, set visits, press junkets, and other press-related functions.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with talent, executive producers, and key executives.
• Collaborate across departments including affiliate relations, marketing, and digital teams.

Basic Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in entertainment publicity at a network, studio, or agency.
