Location: Remote, available from anywhere within the U.S.

Travel: Up to 10% for team meetings and conferences

The Opportunity

The Senior Manager of Analytics will lead efforts to optimize customer journeys and analyze business performance, with a focus on leveraging HubSpot and other marketing automation tools to drive meaningful insights. This role is key in developing and refining customer journeys, ensuring seamless experiences across the funnel, and providing actionable analytics to improve marketing effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have expertise in HubSpot and Tableau, and a strong background in data-driven marketing and performance analysis.

The Sr. Manager of Analytics reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and oversees two direct reports.

What You’ll Do

HubSpot Customer Journey Development:

  • Design, implement, and optimize customer journeys in HubSpot, ensuring seamless transitions across touchpoints from lead generation to customer retention.
  • Utilize HubSpot’s automation features to create workflows, nurture sequences, and personalized campaigns based on customer behaviors and lifecycle stages.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment on lead scoring, conversion tracking, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Continuously monitor, test, and refine customer journey paths to improve conversion rates and enhance the overall customer experience.

Business Performance Analytics:

  • Lead the analysis of business performance across all marketing channels, providing insights into campaign effectiveness, ROI, and key drivers of growth.
  • Use Tableau and other business intelligence tools to develop dashboards and visualizations that clearly communicate business performance to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in marketing and sales strategies.
  • Provide recommendations to optimize marketing budgets and improve customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.

Advanced Analytics & Predictive Modeling:

  • Implement predictive modeling techniques to forecast future customer behaviors, marketing outcomes, and revenue trends based on historical data.
  • Provide insights into customer segmentation, lifetime value, and churn prediction to enhance targeting and personalization efforts.
  • Support the development of A/B testing and experimentation frameworks to improve conversion rates and optimize customer touchpoints.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring:

  • Establish a comprehensive reporting structure to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across all stages of the customer journey.
  • Deliver regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting actionable insights, successes, and areas for improvement.
  • Use data from HubSpot, Google Analytics, Tableau, and other tools to continuously assess marketing effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

  • Lead and mentor a small team of analysts, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Other Duties:

  • Support the team with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to help meet evolving organizational goals and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree (MBA or MS in Analytics, Marketing, or Data Science) is preferred.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in marketing analytics, CRM, or a related field, with a proven track record of data-driven strategy and leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience in a management or senior analyst role, overseeing analytics, CRM strategy, or customer insights in a complex or large organization.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or custom CRM systems) and marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, Eloqua).
  • Proven history of driving customer engagement, retention, and lifecycle strategies through data and CRM optimization.
  • Expertise in data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create dashboards and reports that inform marketing decisions.

Compensation Range

The compensation range for this position is $90,000-$110,000. As part of our commitment to pay equity, new hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the salary band minimum and the salary band midpoint depending on qualifications, location, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role.
