The Manager of Accounting is an essential member of the Catholic Charities Agency Relations Federation Accounting Services team, supporting the fiscal needs of affiliated agencies and staff of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York, including accounting, audit, budgeting, forecasting, and managerial reporting.
This position reports to the CC Sr. Director for Federation Advancement and oversees the Federation Accounting Services team. Responsibilities include ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of government reimbursement claims, coordinating audits, developing budgets and forecasts, analyzing financial results, and managing ad hoc projects.
The Sr. Manager should possess strong accounting, reporting, computer, communication, and analytical skills, providing recommendations to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports and budgets. The role includes supervisory responsibilities over accountants and interns.

Position Details:
This is a full-time role, with travel as needed (not exceeding 3 days/week), generally from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Additional hours may be required to meet deadlines.
