Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in cloud/hybrid datacenter operations, platform engineering, or enterprise software development with IaC/Observability.
• Minimum of 4 years direct people management leading engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct, recruit, and mentor senior engineers and technical leads.
• Lead enterprise observability vision and OpenTelemetry adoption.
• Architectural oversight for multi-cloud architecture and GCP migration.
• Govern vendor relationships, licensing, and cloud telemetry spend.
• Advocate for Observability-as-Code standards and SLO/SLI governance.
• Collaborate with security to ensure telemetry pipelines meet compliance.
• Represent Jack Henry at technology summits and conferences.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering
