Job summary

Blue United Sourcing is seeking a Senior Manager of Major Projects to direct a large capital upgrade program at a nuclear facility. The role leads engineering, operations and contractors, ensuring safety, budget, and schedule compliance while delivering hundreds of plant modifications.

The position offers onsite work in Toledo, OH with relocation support, a competitive base salary ($160,000–$180,000) plus 25% annual incentive and 25–35% long‑term incentive, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering as minimum requirement.
• PMP certification is required.
• PE license is preferred for this role.
• At least 10 years of nuclear industry experience.
• 5+ years of leadership/organizational management experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage execution of major capital upgrade projects from design through implementation, ensuring safety, budget, schedule, and quality requirements are met.
• Lead all project managers, coordinators, and controls staff; manage roughly 10–15 direct reports.
• Define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria with site engineering.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver system upgrades on time.
• Oversee project budgets and resource plans with strict cost controls.
• Manage a large contractor workforce during peak execution windows.
• Identify and manage risk to support regulatory approvals and milestones.
• Provide regular status updates to project and executive leadership.
