Job summary

Blue United Sourcing seeks a Senior Manager of Major Projects to lead a large nuclear capital upgrade at an operating facility. You will direct engineers, project managers, and field teams to deliver hundreds of plant modifications safely, on schedule, and on budget.

This onsite Toledo, Ohio role offers relocation support, a full-time schedule, and a compensation package ranging $160k–$180k base plus annual incentives. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in nuclear projects and PMP certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• PMP certification required.
• 10+ years nuclear industry experience.
• 5+ years leadership/organizational management experience.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex capital projects as a lead project manager.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage execution of major capital upgrade projects from design through implementation, ensuring safety, budget, schedule, and quality requirements are met.
• Lead all project managers, coordinators, and controls staff; manage roughly 10–15 direct reports.
• Define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria with site engineering team.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver system upgrades on time.
• Oversee project budgets and resource plans, maintaining cost and schedule controls.
• Manage large contractor workforce that scales into the hundreds during peak execution.
• Identify and manage technical, regulatory, and execution risk to support timely regulatory approvals.
• Provide regular status updates and milestone reporting to leadership.
