Job summary

Blue United Sourcing is seeking a Senior Manager of Major Projects for a leading nuclear power company in Toledo, Ohio. This onsite role directs a large capital upgrade program across an operating facility, coordinating with engineering, operations, and contractor partners to deliver modifications safely, on schedule, and on budget.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering.
PMP certification required.
10+ years of nuclear industry experience.
5+ years of leadership/organizational management experience.
Proven experience delivering large-scale capital projects as lead PM.
Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Manage execution of major capital upgrade projects from design through implementation, ensuring safety, budget, schedule, and quality requirements are met.
Lead all project managers, coordinators, and controls staff (10–15 direct reports).
Define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria with site engineering.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver system upgrades on time.
Oversee budgets and resource plans with strict cost/schedule controls.
Manage large contractor workforce during peak execution windows.
Identify and manage technical, regulatory, and execution risk for timely approvals.
Provide regular status updates to leadership.
