Job summary

N3B Los Alamos, LLC is seeking an Operations Manager to lead Facility Operations, provide technical direction, and ensure safety, security and regulatory compliance across CH-TRU facilities. The role oversees Engineering, Maintenance, and ESH, aligns activities with safety basis, and collaborates with DOE/DFNSB stakeholders to sustain mission goals.

You will recruit and develop staff, promote a strong safety culture, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement in procedures and performance.

Qualifications

• Advanced management experience in nuclear waste operations.
• Experience in Category 2 Nuclear Facility operations.
• Strong policy and procedure documentation experience.
• Excellent written and oral communications.

Responsibilities

• Provide management and operational oversight for Facility Operations Center and surveillance tracking to meet safety basis requirements.
• Recruit, mentor, and train staff; promote safety, security, and quality in all operations.
• Lead coordination with DOE and DFNSB; ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
• Establish strategic vision for facility operations and drive operational excellence.
