Centene Corporation in the United States is seeking a Manager, Medical Economics to lead analytics strategy and deliver data-driven insights for enterprise and health plan needs. You will supervise two analysts and directly contribute to complex healthcare analytics projects.

The role requires strong SQL and Excel skills, proficiency with Power BI or similar BI tools, and the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations for clinical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, economics, statistics, math, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance).
• 4+ years in healthcare analytics, large databases, data verification and management, SQL or other coding languages.
• Experience with SQL optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling.
• Knowledge of Python and R is preferred.
• Experience with Power BI or other BI tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of enterprise analytics projects and initiatives.
• Manage development efforts with business and technical partners, including requirements gathering and deployment.
• Prioritize work, manage customer expectations and align Deliverables with business needs.
• Maintain effective communication with core stakeholders to support engagement and satisfaction.
• Partner across organizations and translate findings to non-technical partners.
• Engage with business leaders to understand market levers and constraints.
• Leverage enterprise reporting tools to deliver data-driven insights.
• Foster cross-team collaboration across plans and units; mentor the team.
