Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a team of analysts supporting Payment Integrity initiatives. You will blend healthcare data analytics, AI, financial insight, and people leadership to influence executive decisions and drive affordability strategies.

You will partner with finance, operations, clinical, product, and network teams to evaluate trends, support proposals, and ensure accurate financial measurement for new programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a quantitative field (economics, finance, data science, analytics, etc.).
• 7+ years of progressive experience in medical claims predictive analytics, financial modeling, healthcare economics.
• People leader experience.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Excel, SAS, Databricks, Tableau or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of medical claim coding and provider reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic analytics identifying medical cost drivers and affordability opportunities.
• Develop and execute analysis and AI to support Payment Integrity strategies.
• Translate findings into executive-ready insights for senior leadership.
• Own financial business cases for new affordability initiatives, including forecasts and variance analysis.
• Oversee analytics for initiatives, policy changes, and performance monitoring.
• Improve reporting and visualization with self-service analytics and AI-powered tools.
• Modernize analytics through scalable methods and automation.
• Monitor research on affordability and AI trends to inform strategy.
• Manage and develop a team of analysts, setting priorities and ensuring high-quality output.
• Balance multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure data quality with checks and controls.
