Qualifications

• 6+ years of mechanical/electromechanical design experience with engineering management.
• Experience transitioning concepts into ruggedized fielded products; military hardware a plus.
• 3D CAD proficiency and ability to apply GD&T to engineering drawings.
• Production processes knowledge: machining, sheet metal, injection molding, welding, wiring, 3D printing.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Family of Systems Development from concept through production, ensuring integration and reliability.
• Manage and mentor a team of ~5-6 Mechanical Engineers.
• Oversee full-cycle Subsystem and LRU development, from requirements to manufacturing.
• Oversee design reviews, analysis, and hardware testing for reliability.
• Coordinate with internal and manufacturing partners for high-quality documentation.
• Support hardware demonstrations with internal and external customers.
