Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Electromechanical Engineer to lead the integration of power, control, and harnessing subsystems for rugged defense products. You will own hardware design, harness routing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to validate systems across the lifecycle.

You will travel to field exercises to gather feedback from warfighters, iterate on concepts to production, and work onsite at our Costa Mesa headquarters with a high-autonomy team focused on

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electromechanical integration, hardware design, or systems engineering in defense/aerospace/robotics.
• Proven track record wiring electrical components into rugged assemblies.
• Extensive experience with cabling design, wiring harness integration, and military-grade use cases.
• Strong application of first principles across thermal, structural, materials, power, and signal integrity.
• Proficiency with CAD and producing manufacturing-ready drawings.
• BS/MS/PhD in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Aerospace, or Mechatronics engineering.
• U.S. Person due to export-controlled information; onsite in Costa Mesa, CA.

Responsibilities

• Lead system integration of power, control, and harnessing subsystems into robust, finished products.
• Design hardware enclosures, packaging, bus bars, and cable assemblies for extreme conditions.
• Develop harness routing schemes and mounting strategies for reliable interconnects.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, and mechanical engineers across lifecycle to validate complex systems.
• Travel to field exercises and work alongside warfighters to gather feedback for improvement.
• Own designs from concept to production with documentation and build process alignment.
