Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Manager, Product Quality Engineering to lead the quality function for Maritime's Dive-XL program in Quonset, RI. You will define QA strategy, build robust processes, and partner with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to deliver reliable systems.

This role requires AS9100 expertise, hands-on leadership, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across design through production readiness, with international travel for onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years building complex hardware and software systems with OEM suppliers and manufacturing.
• 5+ years in an AS9100 or similar regulated environment.
• Experience in aerospace/defense, automotive, or medical devices manufacturing.
• Proven track record deploying QMS in a certified AS9100 enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Partner with manufacturing and development teams to ensure quality of the integration process for underwater sensors and components.
• Define audit and inspection plans to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with design engineers to create and implement inspection systems.
• Set product build and inspection requirements to meet customer quality requirements.
• Drive best-in-class quality using NCR, RCCA, MRB, and CAPA processes for continuous improvement.
• Establish an AS9100 Quality Management System within the Dive-XL production space in Quonset, RI.
• Develop a supplier quality strategy to scale quality across partnerships.
• Define KPIs for key quality processes to drive accountability and data-driven decisions.
• Coordinate phase-in of new designs with multiple engineering locations to ensure design-to-production readiness.
• Standardize processes with site counterparts to align methods across the organization.
