Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Operations for 1st shift in Decatur, Alabama. You will oversee end-to-end manufacturing area, driving safety, quality, delivery, cost and culture, while leading cross‑functional teams to implement Lean practices.

You will develop the annual operational plan, allocate resources, monitor metrics, and coach leaders to sustain standardized work and continuous improvement across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cross-functional manufacturing teams in a high‑volume setting.
• Strong knowledge of Lean principles and standardized work.
• Proven track record of mentoring leaders and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end operations for a manufacturing area, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, cost and culture.
• Develop the annual operational plan and align area metrics with plant objectives.
• Lead and coach salaried and hourly production employees within a manufacturing area.
• Track department metrics and deliver daily updates during production meetings.
• Drive kaizen events and sustain improvements through root-cause analysis.
