Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Manager 3 – Manufacturing & Logistics to lead daily production, materials, and logistics across Central Virginia sites including Waynesboro. You will ensure safe, efficient, high-quality output and lead the manufacturing management team.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery and cost goals, while driving continuous improvement and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years in manufacturing/production, or a Master’s with 7+ years.
• At least 5 years of management experience.
• Experience with production management systems (ERP/MES) and materials/logistics processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications; ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own daily production operations across Charlottesville and Waynesboro.
• Translate program and demand requirements into shop floor plans; balance capacity, labor, and material availability.
• Lead and develop manufacturing supervisors, materials/logistics leaders, and production teams.
• Monitor KPIs and drive Lean improvements across both sites.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and EH&S to support readiness and improvements.
