Northrop Grumman in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Manager 3 – Manufacturing & Logistics to lead daily production and the materials/logistics teams at Central Virginia sites, with primary presence in Charlottesville and regular engagement in Waynesboro.

You will ensure safe, efficient, high‑quality production, oversee the teams, and partner with engineering, quality and programs to achieve safety, delivery and cost objectives while advancing continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of nine years in manufacturing/production, assembly, engineering and/or logistics.
Master's degree with seven years of relevant experience may substitute for some experience.
At least five years of management/leadership experience.
Experience with ERP/MES and materials/logistics processes.
US Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.
US citizenship required for government positions.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily production across Charlottesville and Waynesboro, ensuring schedules and commitments.
Lead the manufacturing and materials/logistics teams to meet safety, quality, and cost objectives.
Drive continuous improvement with cross-functional partners (Engineering, Quality, Programs, Global Supply Chain).
Develop and manage budgets; report performance to senior leadership.
