Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Central Virginia is seeking a Manager 3 – Manufacturing & Logistics to lead daily production, materials and logistics across Charlottesville and Waynesboro sites. The role ensures safe, efficient operations, develops the manufacturing management team, and supports readiness across both facilities.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree with 9+ years (or a Master’s with 7+ years) in manufacturing/production, and experience with ERP/MES and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of nine (9) years of relevant experience in manufacturing/production, assembly, engineering and/or logistics.
• At least five (5) years of experience in management/leadership of people and/or processes.
• Experience with production management systems (e.g., ERP/MES) and materials/logistics processes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead daily production operations across Charlottesville and Waynesboro, ensuring schedules and commitments are met.
• Translate program and demand requirements into executable shop floor plans; balance capacity and material availability.
• Lead teams and drive KPI-focused performance, continuous improvement, and readiness across sites.
