Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a skilled payer negotiator to develop and execute strategies for ambulatory surgery centers and physician groups. You will lead negotiations, renewals, amendments, and ongoing administration to align reimbursement with organizational goals.

The role requires strong financial analysis, excellent communication, and deep understanding of payer methodologies. Hybrid work arrangement with remote options for eligible candidates is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or healthcare field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a managed care environment.
• 2+ years of negotiation or provider relations experience with major commercial payors in the U.S.
• Experience with ASC reimbursement methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes payer negotiation and contracting strategies for ASCs and physician groups.
• Leads and manages payer contract negotiations, renewals, amendments, and ongoing agreement administration.
• Partners with leadership to implement payer strategies and align reimbursement initiatives with organizational objectives.
• Analyzes payer contracts and financial models to support negotiations and identify revenue opportunities.
• Monitors contract performance, ensuring compliance with terms and payer reimbursement changes.
