Qualifications

• 3–5 years of consumer loan underwriting experience, with mortgage knowledge preferred.
• Lending compliance knowledge is required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate consumer and home equity loan applications against lending policies and regulatory requirements.
• Render timely credit decisions balancing member experience, portfolio quality, and risk management.
• Lead underwriting team with coaching, training, and process improvements.
• Ensure HMDA LAR accuracy monthly and quarterly.
• Support compliance with Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering duties.
